“Atlas, a beautiful rehab of a classic storage building built in 1902, is now a 16-unit luxury apartment building. The building first housed the Grand Avenue Storage Company, then the Atlas Storage Company, from where the new Atlas derives it’s name. You can still make out the ghosted, hand-painted sign from the Atlas Storage Company on the buildings’ exterior.
“Inspired by the buildings’ Romanesque Revival architecture and the juxtaposition of the modern renovation by Helix Architecture, we developed the brand identity, print materials, signage system and website design. Our identity system and visual tool kit plays off the name Atlas by using it’s location coordinates combined with custom maps highlighting the vibrant surrounding neighborhood.”
