“Founded in 1935 by the Aristi family in a brightly colored colonial hacienda in Yucatan, Casa D’aristi has long been famous among locals for producing an exotic liquor called Xtabentún. whose And this artisanal microdistillery is one of only a handful remaining that preserve the ancient method of fermenting the liquor, a recipe dating back to the Mayan civilization.
“To celebrate its 75th anniversary, Casa D’aristi commissioned Brands&People as comprehensive brand consultants to devise a campaign introducing its artisanal spirits to new territories. In our diagnosis, the company needed a total identity redesign and the creation of a new umbrella brand. Formerly known as Grupo Aamsa, the company was reborn as Casa D’aristi in 2011 — a new name to open its way to international shelves. Over the next year we worked closely with the company to redesign its products one by one, constructing a solid brand architecture for domestic and foreign markets.”
