“We designed the identity, a promotional newspaper, a small website and the titles for a new motion picture to be produced soon. ‘One Square Mile’ is a film about London, the Battersea area on both sides of the Albert Bridge to be precise. It tells the story of how the lives of people with different backgrounds, rich and poor, are connected.
“The newspaper format seemed right to promote the film as free papers like ‘Metro’ are read by everyone regardless of status or class. Pictures run underneath of the gutter and connect the pages from the front with those in the back in the same way as the lives of the people. The pink colour of the Albert Bridge and the line drawings of street maps inspired the logo. ”
