“Warimba is an international hammock brand, based on Wynwood, Miami. Seeking to reflect the spirit of struggle in Latin America when pursuing peace, justice and defending human rights. The hammocks design is influenced by the Maya and Wayuu cultures of Latin America known for their wealth, also the ancestral origins of the brand´s founders.
Warimba comes from the Venezuelan slang “Guarimba”, meaning “safe place” and in recent decades a term used in protest against the dictatorial government.
“A unique typography was created for this branding, the brandmark is inspired by the Wayuu knitting and a series of illustrations that convey the values and brand personality.”
