“P’cakes (Petra’s cakes) is a brand of creative cakes and sweet stories. Petra’s approach to creating reflects her personality and lifestyle. Her approach incorporates natural decoration, which we wanted to highlight with the logo. Our inspiration for it comes from the apostrophe in the name (‘). If we look at it in a graphical sense the apostrophe replaces missing letters. We decided to turn it around and style it in such a way that it represents a cherry, which is often used in iconographic representations of cakes. The metaphor “the cherry on top of the cake” also symbolizes the “above and beyond” touch to a solution, which is a very appropriate brand value to communicate, as P’cakes always go above and beyond for their clients.

“In our color selection, we found inspiration in the color palette of P’cakes, a forest theme, and berry bushes, which are all very close to Petra, the creator. Since her creations are very colorful and always different based on the occasion (weddings, children cakes, birthday cakes,…), we set the color palette in such a way, that different color shades can be used for different occasions.

“Finally, since every cake has it’s own story we also envisioned to communicate these stories through the slogan #cakeyourstory”

“A palindrome is a word, number, or other sequence of characters which reads the same backward as forward. It’s an interesting coincident in the universe created by mankind. The reasons behind the birth of Palindrome is a serendipitous. With the vision to become the first choice in fashion of people whose like simple, elegant outfit. We hope to make the best out of everyone with little effort in choosing clothes. We were tasked to make Palindrome as true as it’s name suggest. A logo reads the same backward as forward.

“As coincident as it seem. We notice the rhombus hanger being used in every dressing room of Palindrome. The rhombus hanger it self is a kind of palindrome because of it unique design so we use it as our main icon for the brand. We got to say it’s fit perfectly!”

“Ciuszek Okruszek is an online shop with clothes and accesories for the youngest. You can find here products from both well-known brands, and local designers. The only one condition is high quality and originality of products. In near future, Ciuszek Okruszek will also launch it’s own product line for kids.

“To make an identity for the brand, we based on lyrics from kids song ‘Puszek Okruszek’ (about little doggie), which was also obvious inspiration for name. Switching first letter changes ‘tiny dog’ into ‘tiny cloth’. There was few concepts/drafts of logo mark with dog, from which client decided to use the simpliest one based on geometric shapes. It just had the strongest message, was the most practical and memorable. The symbol was completed by also geometrical, but intentionally irregular typography.

“Next we designed remaining elements of identity system – from business card, paper labels, packaging standards up to promotional materials for print and social media. Main color of used to build brand is purple, which could be completed with bright pastel yellow.”
