“Business Card design for the curator Alejandro Castellote. With an impressive track career (read below) and a humble personality I wanted to represent it on the business card. I designed a simple card that represents photographs hanging on a wall, printed with a transparent shiny varnish over a very mat paper.
“In 1982 Alejandro began working as photography curator. Since 1985 until1996 he was director of the Photography Department at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. He has been artistic director and founder of the International Photography Festival PHotoEspana in Madrid from 1998 to 2000. He teaches workshops and collaborates as photography critic and essay writer for different national and international publications. At present he works as free-lance, is guest curator of Photoquai -a Biennial organized by the Museum Quai de Branly at Paris-, curator of the Festival Getxophoto from 2007 until 2009 and teaches at the Master of Photography of the School EFTI in Madrid.
