“For architectural firm Archipelago, a clean, straightforward identity was conceived, echoing the company’s commitment to contemporary, utilitarian design. First, the foundations of good design make subtle appearances on the stationery suite—a grid pattern on the notepad, the golden ratio on the letterhead. Next, taking inspiration from mid-century modern design, a typeface from timepieces and automobiles of the same era are used for the form titles. As for the body, the international German standard typeface is utilized to show clarity, modernity, and a pragmatic, practical approach to design.”
