“When Macaroni Grill was first established in 1989, it wasn’t just a restaurant, it was a rich dining experience. Opera singers performed “Happy Birthday” in Italian, chefs toasted customers and Phil Romano himself would visit, buying the entire restaurant dinner. Throughout the years, change of ownership and expansion led to many of these values to be sidelined, transforming Macaroni Grill into just another chain restaurant. We were hired to help unchain the chain by revitalizing their restaurant and brand identity with a fresh and consistent approach that ultimately recognizes the soul of Phil’s initial vision.”
